The three Porter Generic Strategies consist of three element that is cost leadership, differentiation and focuses strategy. In cost leadership their main focus is to become a low-cost producer in the industry allows the company to lower prices to customers. As an example, Wallmart sell housing equipment at a low price compare to the other supermarket. Next, in differentiation their main objective is to create competitive advantage by distinguishing their product on one or more features important to their customers. They also has a unique features or benefits may justify price differences and stimulate demand. For Example i-care by Proton. Lastly, in focused strategy, they target to a niche market and they also concentrates on either cost leadership or differentiation. For example, they sold both product from low and high cost that is Kia and Hummer.
